Lilo in the City

I'm pretty stoked to have Israeli party music to dance to at the wedding. Here's a photo of Sherry with Lilo, the band leader that we hired, in his recording studio. He has some music in the new Sex and the City movie, which I think is pretty neat although I don't think I'll be watching the movie any time soon.

Elvis has left the boat

I'm very excited that my homeboy and groomsman Enjay Santos is going to grace us with an Elvis song at the wedding and make us feel like it's Aloha from Hawaii 1973 all over again. We have no idea what he's going to sing but if you stand close to the stage he might give you his towel.

Bo Tagid Shalom

We're pretty stoked that Aunt Hedva is going to sing a couple of songs at our wedding. Here's a video of her performing one of her hit songs, Bo Tagid Shalom, back in 1978. I assume the performance was recorded in Israel but since I can't read Hebrew yet I don't know for sure.

Tomas the tailer

I went to Bloomingdales this afternoon to get my suit altered. Watching where Tomas the tailor put chalk marks on each of the jacket sleeves made me wonder how I had gone my entire life without knowing that one of my arms is freakishly longer than the other. Ok, so maybe 1/3 inch isn't freakish but it was still a surprise. Maybe I can just blame the jacket's workmanship. Yeah, that's it.
